Kate Bracy is an award-winning novelist, blogger, and medical writer. She grew up in the small town of Ogdensburg, N.Y. on the St. Lawrence River, where she learned to swim in frigid water and against the current. She found this to be excellent preparation for life.
Her career includes being a high school English teacher, an adolescent health nurse practitioner, and various roles in nursing administration and nursing education. She has been a writer since she could pick up a pencil, and a teacher since she started bringing her fourth-grade lessons home, offering them to her unappreciative younger siblings.
She is retired from nursing and lives on an island near Seattle, where she teaches writing in an alternative middle school. She shares her home with her brilliant wife and an extremely patient golden doodle.
That Crazy Little Thing is her debut novel, and she is hard at work on her second. You can connect with her at www.katebracy.com and her author page on Facebook..
